"When my back went out, I was unable to move and was in constant, excruciating pain. The MRI’s revealed herniated L4-5 impinging on the nerve root, and bulging L5-S1. I was flat on my back for 3 weeks. When I began Physical Therapy, I needed assistance with everything. I couldn’t even put on my own shoes and socks!! I was amazed at the progress I made after only a couple of weeks of therapy, and now I’m better than I was before I started therapy. I feel like a 20 year old again (and trust me, that was many years ago). I can actually get up from a seated position and walk without trying to straighten out my back—it’s wonderful. My neurosurgeon was amazed at my progress. To all the therapists, Steve, Barbara Ann and Tom, and all the wonderful technicians, “Thank you.” And yes I am still doing my exercises at least 3 times a week. It’s a small price to pay to keep me feeling this great!!!" -Cheryl C.
“I had fallen at work and injured my ankle and knee. From the start of my therapy sessions I was treated with respect and was always asked how I was doing. After each visit I felt better, almost to the point that I didn’t feel I needed to come back. But today-my last appointment-I’m glad I did! I’m doing so much better-no pain-I will gladly recommend ProCare to anyone. Thanks for all your help.” -Gary S.
"I had a spinal operation to remove arthritic chips that had paralyzed my arms and legs. After I completed residential and home health PT, my neurologist recommended that I take physical therapy at ProCare because his other patients had been successful there. It is sometimes very difficult to be both professional and friendly; however, everyone at ProCare has overcome that difficulty. The pushed me beyond the capabilities I thought I had, resulting in steady, successful recovery of my arms and legs. After several months of treatment, my condition has improved 100%. When the PT staff suggested that I continue building my strength at the fitness center, I joined and work regularly on the exercises the therapists developed for me. I would highly recommend therapy at ProCare to anyone." -William H.
"I had a total knee replacement on August 23, 2011. After 7 weeks of physical therapy, I am back to work part time. Because of all the help I have gotten from ProCare, I have finished physical therapy at least 4 weeks ahead of schedule." -Rose J.
"When I came to ProCare Physical Therapy two months ago, I walked like an old woman. I couldn’t do the things I loved because of pain. Happily, two months later, I am stronger, pain free and back to dancing and carrying my granddaughters! I have been given the tools to manage pain and build muscle. I am grateful to the staff for their compassion, care and kindness. I have, and will continue to recommend your facility” -Donna H.
"My experience was pleasant and professional. I noticed a change in pain and movement within a few sessions. My exercise program was very well run. I also received my instructions to follow up and I am sure they will help me a great deal." - Dewey C.
"From the moment I came to ProCare, I have had nothing but caring people making sure I was on the road to recovery. Everyone here took care of my needs, from financial to physical needs. Everyone was willing to work with me until that I felt the services were no longer needed. I would recommend ProCare to anyone who needed therapy." -Judith M.
"I had right shoulder pain, and couldn’t raise my arm over my head without pain. After therapy (three times week for one month) I have full use of that shoulder, and can now raise and reach for things in my cabinets again. Barbara Ann, Steve, Nick, Ryn, and Melinda are professional, caring individuals who do a terrific job. They don’t push you beyond what you can do, and are truly concerned about how you’re doing and how you’re feeling. I want to “thank you”—you’re terrific group and I would recommend you in a heart beat!" -Joanne S.
"My main purpose for treatment was night time leg cramps and trying to correct my flat foot. My leg cramps improved after the first two treatment, and I think my overall muscular activity has improved. the staff who treated me were efficient, caring and good natured." -Florence S.
"I am a 44 year old female and have suffered from right shoulder problems since my early teens. I have had surgery in the past and gone through numerous physical therapy facilities, but never had the success I have now. On July 26, 2011 my orthopedic surgeon performed a total right shoulder replacement. The very next day I was released fro mthe hospital and given the choice of home and/or outpatient physical therapy. Prior to my surgery, my older sister and nephew had received treatment at ProCare. They both highly suggested I also receive my treatment there. I was skeptical because of all my past experiences with physical therapy with little or no success. On July 8th, I was evaluated and reweived my first treatment. My PT helped me understand how the physical therapy program that she would design would help me get movement back. Please note, the first visit I could not lift, move or for that matter feel my entire arm. The PT assured me that she could help. I am pleased to report that it's 17 weeks since my initial visit, and although I'm still healing I am moving my shoulder again in ways I would have never imagined almost pain-free. I'm still working on the strengthening process at ProCare but can now perform day-to-day tasks with limited problems. A tremendous thanks to the entire staff, they are very attentive, diligent and extremely friendly. They are also incredibly kind, knowledgeable and very skilled in their craft, and do all they can to ensure the well being of each and every patient. My PT has seen my struggles and frustrations since day one. Without her exceptional care, determined attitude and pushing me to achieve my goals and maximize my rehabilitations, I would not be at the level of healing that I am today. She created a program that not only took me from absolutely zero movement to now where I can function almost normal again. I can't thank her enough for making my physical therapy exerience that was, and continued to be rewarding beyond all my initial expectations. My therapy will soon be coming to an end and I will enter into the maintenance program to continue strengthening and toning." - Amy C.
